Who we are

At Nova, we started with one simple idea: to create a gym that truly works for the people of our city. We saw a gap—shift workers, night owls, business owners, and fitness lovers who wanted a space that fit their unique schedules, whether that’s early mornings, late nights, or somewhere in between. That’s why we’re here, open 24 hours a day, so you can get your workout in when it’s most convenient for you.

But we didn’t stop there. We listened to all the frustrations people have with gyms—overcrowding, long waits for equipment, poor gym etiquette, and messy, disorganized spaces. We knew we could do better. That’s why we’ve designed a gym that feels welcoming to everyone, from the average joe to the most dedicated fitness enthusiast. With the right balance of strength equipment and space to move, we want you to feel motivated and uplifted every time you walk through our doors.

It’s not just about the workout; it’s about building a community. We’ve created a space that’s clean, organized, and respected—where you can focus on what matters most: your goals. Whether you’re here to unwind after a long shift, squeeze in a morning workout, or challenge yourself with new fitness goals, we’re here to help you make it happen.

  • Founder

What started as my own health and fitness journey turn into a catalyst for a future I hadn’t originally expected. I spent years at other gyms mastering my skills as a Trainer to help change people’s lives. But I realized that wasnt enough - there were other obstacles in my way and my clients’ way. I created NOVA as a solution to the obstacles & complaints from trainers, gym members and my own clients regarding their experiences in the surrounding gyms.

How I Help You Get Results

I learned that becoming a good trainer required a variety of knowledge and experiences. My own fitness journey and a personal training certificate wasn’t enough. I was able to teach women and men how to lose weight and build muscle while pursuing my bachelor’s degree. It didn’t take me long to realize that people have lots of different journeys and obstacles, so I needed to know more.

    • How was I going to help Derek who suffered a knee injury 5 years ago in a car accident and struggled to climb a flight of stairs without pain?

    • How was I going to help Kelly with her cardio who has been suffering with asthma and low back pain for years?

I took Postural Restoration courses to help me understand the influence of breathing and biomechanics in order to help my clients train without pain. I interned at Mike Boyle’s Gym in Boston to learn more about athletes and how to coach large groups. I even attended an orthopedic seminar at Brown to help me understand how to help people who have had injuries. I became a certified nutritionist to help tailor my clients goals & lifestyle with their diets on top of attending seminars constantly to learn more about women’s and men’s health. I continue to learn more and more to this day and this is why my client’s trust me.
